Vaughn Gittin Jr. Brings Home the Gold at China's World Drift Series

Vaughn Gittin Jr. and the RTR Drift Team traveled to Tianjin, China for the first round of the World Drift Series and the first international event of the 2013 season. WDS is China's premier drift series that attracts over fifty thousand people and is held at the Olympic Stadium. Vaughn and his Ford Mustang RTR-D powered by Bosch Spark Plugs and Alternator had a perfect day by qualifying in 1st place in a field of drivers from around the world. This is Vaughn's third consecutive year taking first place in Tianjin, as well as his third consecutive podium of the 2013 season.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. and the RTR Drift team traveled for the tenth consecutive season to the Road Atlanta track.
Vaughn placed 9th out of over 50 drivers in the first round of qualifying and then placed in the top sixteen in his second obligatory run. Vaughn faced Michael Essa in the consolation round and earned the third place spot on the podium after throwing down two solid runs and to move him into the first place in the Formula Drift Series.
